My name is Janine Griffin, and I am the co-founder of Central Wellness. My daughter and I founded Central Wellness together back in 2012. I am married and have four beautiful children who are married, and with that comes 11 beautiful grandchildren. As a family, we love to spend time together at our family ranch, have Sunday dinners, and travel to see the beautiful sights of this amazing world.
I love to tell the story of Central Wellness because I want you to know that our intention is true.
To make a positive difference in each client’s life one experience at a time.
In 2012, my daughter and I thought it would be nice to build a business that created a place where women could receive medical aesthetic services in a really relaxing and inviting environment. Where you could stop for a moment in your crazy hectic day and refill your cup with a rejuvenating treatment, in turn, to help you be energized to make a positive difference in the people’s lives that you serve and love. In 2012 in Billings Montana, it was a completely uncommon idea, in fact, we were the first med-spa in Montana to be owned by a non-medical person.
As we started into this business I had to really stop and think about my own belief system. I struggled with pushing vanity. Was I promoting women to compare themselves to the Cover-Girl magazine or Victoria’s Secret models? Am I okay with Aesthetic Medicine and pushing unachievable perfection on social media allowing for negative comparisons with others based on appearance? All of these questions bothered me as we got started with our new venture.
What I found most exciting about the Central Wellness adventure was doing it with my daughter! We were a team, both busy moms, starting a new business, and helping women believe that they can do whatever they want to do, regardless of their circumstances. Believing we could empower staff of women to empower each client one service at a time has been Central Wellness’s focus.
When we got started there were only four of us. We were answering the phones, doing the consultations, learning marketing, and helping our providers with services. It was difficult and overwhelming, but it allowed us to make so many new friends. I was the face of our company which put me front and center engaging with our clients. I found myself laughing and crying with some of the most amazing women. I met women who discovered themselves alone after 30 years of marriage, getting back into the dating scene. I met professional women facing the challenges of growing their careers. I met stay-at-home moms who just wanted to look beautiful. I met really confident women and others who need help believing in themselves.
I met young men and young women who were embarrassed by the acne scars on their cheeks and shied away from after-school activities.
What I have learned from our remarkable clients over the years, is that every person is placed in our path for a reason. Some need encouragement, others need a time out, and some come just because they need a trusting face or a fun laugh.
I have learned when we give encouragement, confidence can lead to greater self-esteem, self-awareness, and self-empowerment. I recognized Central Wellness plays a very important role in our clients’ lives “one experience at a time.”
As the years have passed my daughter has added to her family so home is where she thrives with her little ones. I believe a mother is a noblest and most amazing vocation a woman can have, to mold and shape the lives of her children. Looking at my 9 beautiful granddaughters, I am able to sincerely answer all of the questions I asked myself in my early years. Yes, it is okay to be part of the beauty industry because beauty comes from within. Yes, I am okay telling women that there is an opportunity for change because change can be the spark that makes life that much more amazing.
We can create a community based on our values that supports and uplifts. As moms, wives, volunteers, friends, and all the hats that we wear, we can drive a positive difference in each other’s lives. I believe everyone deserves to feel and look their best, and that the only opinion that matters when it comes to your well-being and appearance is your own.
Lacy completed her BSN in 2007 at the University of Mary in Bismarck North Dakota, where she started her career as an RN in medical oncology and intensive care. Shortly after that, she received her master’s degree and became a Family Nurse Practitioner certification and was further certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Lacy graduated top of her class and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing as a lifetime member.
Lacy joined the Central Wellness team in 2019 where she began her career in Bio-identical Hormone Health for men and women. She has attended numerous training and is board certified in BHRT. Lacy helps her patients understand that the mind and body are working synergistically to create health. She believes patients deserve to be supported, seen, heard, and understood in order to design the best possible care for them.
Lacy has added to her career path cosmetic injectables. She has had an interest in aesthetics for as long as she can remember. Lacy became certified in cosmetic injections, attending multiple Allergan training courses. She understands the value of education and is always working on expanding her knowledge and skills in aesthetics by attending the best aesthetic training courses. Lacy believes that helping people achieve their physical goals can ultimately improve their overall health and wellbeing. It is a wonderful feeling to see how even the smallest change can provide such great satisfaction and a boost of confidence!

She has spent countless hours learning and researching supplements so when clients need assistance she is there to help.
Laurie has extensive training in cosmeceuticals, medical grade skincare products that contain active ingredients and can only be sold in a medical office. She is certified in ZO Skin Care, Epionce, Alastin, and ColoreScience. She enjoys helping clients with their skin care needs.
